Smart Energy Network is a non-profit organization funded by our financial partners Å Energi, Cegal, ANEO and Volue. We are legally partnered with Advokatfirmaet Selmer and sponsored by Thema Consulting Group. Network partners and members pay an annual fee to participate in our networking meetings.

Our Story
Powering the Green Transition, Together
A cold morning in Oslo, back in 2017. Two friends, Ragnvald Nærø and Bjarne Hareide, sat down over a cup of coffee. Ragnvald, with his more than 15-year tenure as a top executive at Statkraft, and Bjarne, with his connections on the global market of innovation, shared a common concern. They saw an energy sector standing at the crossroads of transformation. Both paths were open, but only one led to a sustainable future. That day—Smart Energy Network was born
